SS-331H Correct Use

1.After each work, it is recommended to suction 3-5 times and empty the residual tin in the tube;

2.If the interval between use is about 20 minutes, it is recommended to clean the steel pipe with a needle after air suction;

3.It is found that the suction is reduced during use, please clean the steel pipe with a needle;

4.If the frequency of use is very low, it is recommended to adjust the tin gun to about 200 degrees, and then to the working temperature when using;

5.When the tin slag in the tin storage cylinder is about 1/2, it should be cleaned in time. When the filter cotton is found to be hardened, it needs to be replaced in time.


Causes of blocked sniffer

1.The temperature is set too low during long-term unsoldering. When the solder does not reach the storage tank, the temperature drops, and the solder remains in the tube, which causes blockage.

2.Too much tin slag in the tin storage cylinder was not cleaned in time. If the suction that affects the wind mouth is not cleaned in time, the tin slag at the tail must be removed, and it can only be removed by heating it with a soldering iron and tinning it.


Special Note

After the soldering gun is used, there is still residue in the thin steel pipe. If it is always at a high temperature, it will cause the internal tin oxidation to produce tin slag (because the melting temperature of lead-free solder is 220 degrees, and the melting temperature of lead solder is 180 degrees). ), The tin slag swells after being oxidized, and is in close contact with the inner wall of the stainless steel tube to produce a solid powder. Therefore, tin slag should be cleaned in time when appropriate.
