3. Do I have to pay for tax?

4. Can a laser be installed for etching?
Yes, it supports laser etching. Compatible with all FoxAlien laser modules, FoxAlien's 20W laser and 40W laser. For laser engraving, it also fits R57 rotary rollers.

5. Can this CNC machine cut/engrave metals like Zinc Brass Aluminum?
Yes it can. You can use it to machine 7075-T6 or 6061 aluminum.

6. Can this CNC machine cut/engrave all kinds of material such as wood, leather, MDF, acrylic, foam, resin, nylon, carbon fiber, PCB ?

7. What software does this work with? and include the software?
This CNC machine is based on GRBL and is compatible with GRBL control software. We provide free open source software - Candle, which can also be downloaded online / if you need other software, you may need to buy it yourself.
8. Can I run this directly connected to my PC?
Yes, this CNC machine can be connected to PC through USB cable.
9. Do I have to load cad software to do 3D engraving?
This machine moves on all 3 axes (x, y, and z) simultaneously, what we call true 3-axis CNC in the industry. It cannot 3D sculpt and is not compatible with Mach3 software. But it can do relief.
10. Can the 4040-XE power supply and frame handle a spindle over 300w? Maybe like a 500w or 600w spindle?
It comes with a 300W spindle. It is the largest spindle the machine can support. But this machine can also fit a DWP611 router with a 69mm diameter z-clamp.
