Yes, it supports spindle and laser, But only one can be used at a time. it cannot use both. Compatible with all FoxAlien laser modules, FoxAlien's 20W laser and 40W laser.
5. Can this CNC machine cut/engrave metals like Zinc Brass Aluminum?
Yes, it can be done with the correct parameters and router bits. Recommended for use with 300W Spindle Upgrade Kit.

7. What software does this work with? and include the software?
This CNC machine is based on GRBL and is compatible with GRBL control software. We provide free open source software - Candle, which can also be downloaded online / if you need other software, you may need to buy it yourself.
8. Can I run this directly connected to my PC?
Yes, this CNC machine can be connected to PC through USB cable.
9. Do I have to load cad software to do 3D engraving?
This machine moves on all 3 axes (x, y, and z) simultaneously, what we call true 3-axis CNC in the industry. It cannot 3D sculpt and is not compatible with Mach3 software. But it can do relief.
10. Can the Masuter power supply and frame handle a spindle over 300w? Maybe like a 500w or 600w spindle?
Yes, the Masuter supports that. Actually high power spindle needs to be powered by independent power supply. You may need to find the suitable power supply for 500w spindle by yourself. In this case, the original power supply comes with the machine is used to drive the motors.
Masuter Pro Specification
Structure Upgrade: Masuter Pro is an All-Aluminum CNC router, which makes the machine sturdier than the last version. The Z-axis uses linear rails instead of the optical axis, this greatly improves the stability and accuracy.
Upgraded Controller Box: The control board is upgraded to a compact controller box. The emergency stop button and home button are more easily and more convenient to access. The control box is also dust-proof for easy maintenance.
Compatibility Upgrade: Masuter Pro includes 2 spindle clamps: 52mm & 65mm. The 52mm clamp can accommodate the 60W spindle, 300W spindle and the FoxAlien laser modules. The 65mm clamp is for customized upgrade, such as 65mm Makita router, 1.5KW spindle, etc. Masuter Pro also supports the 69mm spindle clamp, please buy separately.
Assembly Upgrade: Main parts are pre-assembled, and the part of the wires are pre-installed to the controller box. It takes only 10-15 minutes to fully assemble.
Additional Working Light: A small working light is added to the Z-axis. It helps you to monitor the carving details and process more clearly. Each stepper motor has a knob for easy adjusting by hand.

Masuter Main Features:
● Masuter 4040 is a cost-effective CNC router with large working area of 400 x 380 x 55mm (15.75” x 14.96” x 2.16”). It uses a 60W spindle and NEMA17 stepper motors. Max moving speed is 2000mm/min and spindle speed range is 0~10000.
